It’s easy to get involved with helping the school.
From taking part in fundraising events, running a marathon, making a monthly donation, or even visiting the guest house - anything you can do will make a real difference.
Your donations make a real and tangible difference to the lives of children living with hearing loss in Sierra Leone. Whatever you can give - it matters. Every penny donated goes to supporting the school - as a very small charity, run by volunteer trustees and with no staff or paid employees, we are reliant on the amazing people who see the importance of St Joseph’s and want to help in any way they can.
Amazing supporters just like you have done all kinds of amazing things:
Held cake sales, bake offs and run stalls at local events.
Given talks and shared stories from St Joseph’s (drop us an email and we can help with materials, PowerPoints etc.) with youth groups, schools and churches.
Sold some of the lovely items that pupils from the tailoring workshop send over to us whenever someone visits (contact us for details).
Taken on sponsored challenges, runs, cycling races and even a wheelbarrow race to support the school.
Events like these make a huge difference in helping raise awareness of the school and fundraise for its activities, so if you’re tempted to get involved - please do! We’d love to hear about your plans and ideas, and offer any support you need in any way we can.
